Challenge #19 – July 10th

Today’s Challenge is to simply sit down and take the time to have a conversation with someone. It’s amazing how much that can affect our attitude and our outlook on life.

* We wanted to give special thanks to everyone who has been viewing our website and taking the challenges each day

Challenge #18 – July 9th

Today’s Challenge is a “green” challenge. In other words, do something helpful for the environment today, whether that’s recycling a plastic bottle or picking up a piece of trash and throwing it away. Let us know what you’ve chosen!

Challenge #17 – July 8th

Say something nice to at least five people today! Tell us what you said and how it made you and/or them feel :)

Challenge #16 – July 7th

Think about a valuable piece of advice that you have been given or that you have learned over the years. Your challenge is to pass that advice along to another person. We welcome you to share your advice with others on our comments page.

Challenge #15 – July 6th

Today’s Challenge is to reflect on what the 30 Day Challenge has meant to you so far and what impact, if anything, it has had on others around you. Please feel free to leave a comment to inspire others.

* We’re half way through the 30 Day Challenge! We would love your ideas for the final challenges. Send us an email at the30daychallenge@ymail.com. Thanks!

Challenges #12, 13, 14 – July 3rd – 5th

Hi Everyone. Due to the holiday this weekend, we thought we’d post the challenges from Friday through Sunday ahead of time so that those who are going away will hopefully be able to see all of them before leaving. Have fun this weekend!

Challenge #12 asks you to spend time with someone you care about, telling them why you appreciate their company.

For Challenge #13, spend some time reflecting upon the meaning behind July 4th, as well as what the holiday means to you. Here is a website to get you started: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independence_Day_(United_States)

Challenge #14 asks you to give thanks to someone who does or has done a service for you. This could be anything or anyone from a waitress to a family member who might cook you dinner over the holiday.

* Remember, it’s coming close to that time where we are going to ask you for your help with developing the final 15 challenges. If you have any ideas, don’t forget to submit them using the link to the left. Please do not hesitate to email us, either. We look forward to hearing your suggestions.

Challenge #11 – July 2nd

Today we’d like you to write a note/letter to someone. Perhaps a thank-you note or a note that simply says you’re thinking about the person. In the age of computer technology with email and ecards, we often forget about the notion of a simple handwritten note to let someone know we’re thinking of them.

Challenge #10 – July 1st

Today’s Challenge is to ask two people how their days are going or how their days went. After asking and listening, we tend to feel even better, not only about truly showing people that we are here to lend an ear, but about ourselves, as well.

Challenge #9 – June 30th

Today we would like you to think about someone who inspires you and to tell that person why he/she does. If it someone whom you are unable to tell, for instance, a celebrity, then simply reflect upon why that person inspires you and what you would tell them if you were given the chance. We look forward to reading your comments!

Challenge #8 – June 29th

Today’s Challenge is to take notice of something that makes you smile.

* Keep sending ideas our way! Thank you!
